SOM-SMARC-MX95 (E88)

This page contains the instructions to flash the eMMC/internal SSD on a SOM-SMARC-MX95 (E88) SECO board. This board flashing procedure follows the generic instructions, with some additional steps.

This board is still in the prototype phase. The first hardware revision does not support flashing of the internal eMMC.
To use the board, please refer to the Installation on an External Storage guide and booting from microSD.

Instructions​

These are the instruction to be followed in order to boot from uSD card with the module inserted on B79 SMARC carrier:

  • Set the position of DIP SW13 and SW12 to perform uSD boot.

  • SW12 -> 1-3 off -> 2-4 on

  • SW13 -> 1-3 on -> 2-4 off

  • You can check the output of the serial debug port (e.g. via minicom) connecting another USB type-A to microUSB cable to the CN73 connector of B79 SMARC carrier board.
