Modular Vision MX8M-Plus

Flashing Modular Vision MX8M-Plus (E83-D18, RevA)​

The Modular Vision MX8M-Plus device follows the generic sequence with some additional steps.

A special bootloader is needed during the flashing step. This should be downloaded into the same directory from:

  • flash.bin - Bootloader variant to write the emmc

Instead of a USB-A to USB-C cable, the RevA of this device needs a special a USB-A-male to USB-A-male cable. This will be adapted in later revisions of this device.

The flash command needs to be adapted: flash.bin is used during the flashing instead of imx-boot.
