Carrier-COMe-T6-C30

Carrier-COMe-T6-C30 is SECO's 3.5-inch carrier board for COM Express Type 6 modules. It is designed as a common hardware baseline for rapid bring-up, concept validation, and early application development, allowing teams to work on a flexible carrier architecture while selecting the most suitable compute module for their target use case.
The C30 is used across SECO's COMe ecosystem as the shared platform behind development and evaluation flows. It supports a modular setup in which the carrier board and the COM Express module remain separate building blocks, making it easier to reuse the same hardware foundation across different processor families and project stages.
Depending on the scenario, the C30 can be used as a standalone reference carrier during hardware validation, as part of a development workflow, or inside evaluation bundles that help developers start testing the platform more quickly.
Hardware Overview
Carrier-COMe-T6-C30 provides the connectivity and expansion layer required to evaluate COM Express Type 6 modules in a practical development environment. At platform level, the board is positioned to support display, networking, storage, expansion, and peripheral integration during early development and validation.
Main hardware highlights include:
- Display interfaces based on DP++ outputs for external video connection
- USB connectivity for peripherals and service operations
- Dual Gigabit Ethernet support for network validation
- M.2 expansion options for wireless, storage, and additional integrations
- Serial, GPIO, and service-oriented interfaces for embedded development
- Power input designed for development kit and evaluation workflows
- A modular architecture shared with SECO COMe-based kits and reference solutions
