EVAL-KIT-SOM-SMARC
EVAL-KIT-SOM-SMARC is a development and evaluation kit built around the Carrier SMARC E71, designed to provide a consistent and structured starting point for embedded and edge application development based on SECO SMARC modules. It supports fast bring up, hardware validation and early software development, reducing integration effort across different processor architectures.
The kit is available in two configurations to support different evaluation needs.
The first configuration includes the Carrier SMARC E71 in ARM configuration based on the selected SOM, a power supply kit composed of power adapter, power cord and regional power adapters for EU, US and Japan. This setup is intended for board level evaluation, software bring up and interface validation.
The second configuration extends the base kit by adding a 7 inch touch display and an acrylic support designed to host both the Carrier SMARC E71 and the display. This version enables immediate evaluation of graphical user interfaces, HMI scenarios and display driven applications, providing a more complete out of the box experience.
